Look throught your items, you might have something like wood sword, i had that problem as i got some of my items from streamers doing giveaways.
when you lower your level through the character editor you can still have your previous power items equipped until you unequip them. Make sure none of those are on.
It is pointless since power is a scaling number for gear. Yeah I have 200 less health and a little over a second lost on my skills what a difference >.>. I actually find it easier to kill people.
