Over the next few weeks, we will be seeking out users for Staff positions for our various up and coming Cube World Servers. We will be seeking these players to fulfill these positions:: Moderators: In-game moderation and forums! Harbingers: Thread bumping, vote binging, advertisers for Cube World/Herocube! Coders: Players who know js/python and others to assist with Herocube CUWO scripts! So keep on your toes if you want to start helping the best Cube World community ever, there's not a formal app process yet, but feel free to post here!
Any ETA on the PvE and RPG servers? The PvP server is going so well. I can only expect the others to do just as well if not better.
Right now, we are waiting for mobs / entities on CUWO (or another wrapper) that will allow us to host on a Linux platform. Our strong point is Linux hardware - we don't have much "windows server" power.
Anyone who'd like one of the mentioned positions, please comment here. It isn't really any sort of application but it gives us a good idea of who's interested.
I could help with in-game moderation, I'm usually online most of the day and night (GMT+1). I could also help with coding from time to time.
I definitely am putting up an app in for moderation. I definitely have the background in moderation / community management / real life business management. I have an extremely good understanding of all the current hacks and read daily on the new ones being developed. I support our forums and check all the updates daily as well as make sure to spend time daily in game (even if it isn't pvping). I know to carefully judge and analyze every case and that every case is unique in itself. I lead one of the larger clans and have a high amount of in-game time and future time to be dedicated as I am currently expanding [ROAR] with new events.
Would like to apply for moderator. Seeing that i am on all day and night, i think that i can fill in that time-zone where not many admins/staff are awake. This would not be my first time moderating a server, and i think i do have the proper know how on dealing with issues. I have seen our server rules and hope to help enforce them. Currently i am 100% dedicated to this server and helping it grow into a bigger better community. Pacific Standard Time, if that's of any use.
If I become staff, will I then be used by a mage? D: TBH, I won't be of much use if I were staff anyways. I'm never really on... just waiting for the non-pvp server, but I suck at moderation/coding/heralding... so yeah.
